The Coatings Alliance Introduces Four New Products for 2004
New C2 Primers and Paints Provide Solutions
to Classic Coverage Problems

Buffalo, NY - The Coatings Alliance is rolling out four new paint products and significantly expanding its signature brand, C2 Collections of Color. The products introduce new solutions for classic painting challenges. Available at all C2 dealers in March, the products include:

C2 Accent Color System Primers - These new primers are designed to work with the boldest colors of the C2 palette. Available in interior and exterior latex, and exterior oil, C2 Accent Color System Primers deliver outstanding coverage in a maximum of two topcoats. The exterior primers block cedar-bleed and other discolorations due to resins in wood, while adding years to the longevity of a paint job.

C2 Non-Reflective Flat - The Coatings Alliance delivers as close to an absolutely dead-flat finish as possible. It is excellent for touch-up and is the perfect solution for 'the fifth wall', the ceiling.

C2 Interior Sandable Acrylic Primer - This primer is designed for use under C2's Premium Interior Satin or Semi-gloss Acrylic Enamels. First class trim work requires a very smooth base coat. This primer provides terrific adhesion to the substrate and then is sandable for the smoothest finish possible.

C2 Premium Interior Alkyd Satin-Semi - An upgrade on the current C2 offering, C2 Premium Interior Alkyd Satin-Semi provides a superior performing, high hiding alkyd enamel. The sheen is at the top end of the satin range and the low end of the semi-gloss range. A significant number of painters still believe the best possible trim finish is an alkyd. C2 is committed to providing superior VOC-compliant alkyd products like this to painters.
